Dolphins?

We love to watch the dolphins at Captain’s Sam Spit!  (The area at the west end of the island where the Kiawah River splits Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island.)
Though there are no guarantees, but usually you can see them if you go down to the Kiawah River around low tide.  For specific information about the tides during your visit, please call (800) 576-1570 and ask to be connected to the Nature Center.
To get to Captain Sam’s Spit, go to the beach and go WEST (ie facing the water, go to the right).    This is about 1 .5 miles from West Beach Village and about 3.5 miles from East Beach Village.
